Add your race data

However you tracked your race — your phone, a plotter, a PredictWind DataHub, a dedicated tracker — you can get it onto Telltale and into the replay, results and analysis. Three ways, easiest first.

1. Easiest — your phone (live)

No gear, no account needed. Open Track My Race on your phone, type your boat name, hit Start at the gun and Finish at the line — it records your GPS track and submits it to the fleet automatically (and shows you live on the map while you sail).
Open Track My Race →

2. Upload a track file (GPX or NMEA)

Got a track off a plotter, watch, tracker or app? Drop a .gpx or raw .nmea/.log file here — we auto-detect the format and it goes straight into the replay.
Pick an existing race to drop this boat in alongside the fleet, or leave as new.
Set the 5-minute gun and everything before it (delivery, milling about pre-start) is trimmed — the replay starts clean. Picking a race fills this from its start automatically.
Drop a .gpx or .nmea file here, or click to choose

2b. Pull your race from a tracker (Yellowbrick / PredictWind)

Raced with a Yellowbrick tracker or on a PredictWind club event? Enter the race code, find your boat, and we’ll pull just your own track (plus your corrected-time result) into a private replay. It’s your boat’s data — only you and people you allow can see it.
Yellowbrick: the bit after yb.tl/ in the tracker link (e.g. rni2014).

3. Where to get a GPX from your gear

A GPX is the universal “track” file — almost everything can export one. Here’s how, by device:
Device / appHow to get the GPX
PredictWind DataHubLogs GPS + NMEA 2000 to its SD card. In the DataHub web UI: Services → Tracking → Logs, then Export GPX (email it to yourself). Also plays back the full N2K log.
Chartplotter / MFD
B&G, Simrad, Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno
Record a track during the race, then Export / Save track to SD card as GPX (or User Data / .gpx). Pop the card in a laptop and upload the file.
OpenCPN / Signal KRight-click the track → Export as GPX (OpenCPN). Signal K can log and export tracks too.
Dedicated trackers
Vakaros Atlas, Velocitek, Sailmon
Export the session/track from the companion app — GPX where offered (otherwise CSV; send it and we’ll convert).
Sailing apps
RaceQs, Sailmon, PredictWind app
Export or share the race track as GPX from the app’s history/session view.
GPS watch
Garmin, Suunto, Apple Watch
Export the activity as GPX (Garmin Connect → activity → Export GPX; similar in others).
Raw NMEA (0183 / N2K) logs? We’re building direct NMEA import. For now, convert to GPX first (OpenCPN opens most logs and exports GPX; the DataHub exports GPX directly), then upload above.

Your data is yours — GPX is an open format, and you can always export everything and leave. Nothing here is locked in.
